With years of experience in both nutrition therapy counseling and the supplement industry, I am also passionate about consumer education and love helping others navigate consumerism consciously over on Conscious Finds. Areas of Special Training

  • Holistic Nutrition Therapy

The food that we eat becomes the building blocks of our cells + the fuel for our cellular processes. Nutrition therapy focuses on the incorporation of nutrient-dense foods to support both general health + specific circumstances. Supporting healing with food + nutrition can also be a deep act of self-care.

  • Homeopathy + Drainage

Homeopathy was developed in Germany over 200 years ago and is used as a gentle + effective method to stimulate one’s vital force. Biotherapeutic drainage is the use of specific combinations of liquid homeopathic remedies to support the body’s detoxification process.

  • Herbalism + Supplements

With hundreds of hours of herbalism training and years of experience in the field of dietary supplements, Dr. Jenny utilizes both of these healing modalities with specified purpose, attention to quality, and a plan, including start + stop dates in order to restore balance without breaking the bank.

What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of health care that emphasizes supporting one’s vitality and the body’s innate physiological efforts to restore and optimize health. Naturopathic medicine combines centuries-old knowledge and philosophy with current medical research and is practiced through the lens of the Six Principles of Naturopathic Medicine:

  • The Healing Power of Nature (Vis Medicatrix Naturae)

  • Identify & Address the Cause (Tolle Causam)

  • First Do No Harm (Primum Non Nocere)

  • Doctor As Teacher (Docere)

  • Consider the Whole Person

  • Prevention

The study of naturopathic medicine requires four years of post-graduate training combining biomedical sciences with the clinical application of naturopathic modalities, including botanical medicine, homeopathy, biotherapeutic drainage, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and dietary supplements.

A naturopathic doctor (ND) has attended one of the seven accredited universities in North America and has passed national board examinations in order to receive licensure. NDs are trained as primary care providers, however practice scopes and licensure abilities for NDs currently vary state by state. Seeing that Jenny practices virtually, she works as a naturopathic wellness consultant and educator and not as a primary care provider that practices medicine, though she maintains her licensure.
