Coconut Sugar Simple Syrup

1 cup coconut sugar
1 cup water
Add the coconut sugar and water to a saucepan over medium heat and stir to combine as it heats with the pot uncovered. Bring to a low boil, stirring regularly. Remove the pot from the heat as soon as you see that the sugar has completely dissolved.
Allow the syrup to cool completely before transferring to a jar or container. Store in the refrigerator for up to six months.
